Out on the rio

River Standard Time is the story of getting lost, of finding wonderment in a world that is being un-wilded.  It is simply about being ok and lost in the mineal tasks of life. Bailing the boat with half a beer can because you’ve popped so many rivets… because you’ve had sooo much fun. Becoming ok with doing these tasks that don’t necessarily advance your standing in the production cycle of our society. They just take us back to our roots. They take us back to what we were made to do… Exist… Be … People who search, find that place for themselves. Most people find themselves when they prolong their exposure in wild placed…. in nature. I’ve found my place in this world on the river. Any river. Anything that is moving and heading towards the ocean. This has touched and taken my heart. It is what I’ve prioritized because it is where I find myself  LIVING… in eternity if you will. The short stents of time we spend in true presence… this is our opportunity at eternity. And if we are lucky enough to practice in these places frequently, we get to visit eternity more often… This is RIVER STANDARD TIME. This is why we go to great lengths to adventure in certain areas that speak to us… that call us… and that become our true home. This type of  life and the music that comes from it is the point.
